Paul Walker movie car to be auctioned

Offered with No Reserve, this is an actual 2001-model Mitsubishi Evo from "2 Fast 2 Furious" driven by Paul Walker. One of the 'principle' cars, meaning it was used for close-up detail shots, the Evo has less than 900 original miles on the odometer.

It is a genuine Japanese-spec Lancer Evolution VII imported into the United States for filming of the movie which was released the same time as the 2003 Mitsubishi was introduced for sale in the US market.

Aside from the distinctive custom paint, graphics and bodywork modifications, the ex- movie car features largely stock 4-door Evo VII componentry: a 4G63 turbocharged DOHC 1997cc 4-cylinder engine; 5-speed manual trans; all-wheel-drive; 320mm/300mm Brembo disc brakes; and Recaro seats.

Fully documented by the Volo Auto Museum in Illinois, the ex-FF movie car will be auctioned on Wednesday, January 15, as part of Barrett-Jackson's massive Scottsdale, Arizona, auction, which runs from January 12 to 19, 2014.
