PREVIEW - 2025 Performance Pulse Expo

In its first year, the Performance Pulse Expo exceeded all expectations. The Sunshine State’s equivalent of SEMA showcased the best from the automotive aftermarket industry in Queensland and also captured a lot of the energy and atmosphere of the Auto Salon days, with a diverse range of race, street and performance cars and motorcycles on show.
Created by Growl Racing, the first Performance Pulse Expo was such a hit that the second edition is locked in for 2025 – Sunday, 9 March at Brisbane’s RNA Showgrounds - and is set to be even bigger.
2025 Performance Pulse Expo – key attractions
- More than 70 stallholders from the performance automotive industry
- Dozens of display cars and motorcycles – classic, custom and race
- Special drag racing display
- Special JDM sex spec car display
- DJ and live music all day
- Food trucks
- Kids activities
- Ample parking close by
- Public transport to venue
Double the Space
A showcase of everything the performance automotive industry in Queensland has to offer, the Performance Pulse Expo brings these businesses together under one roof. Actually, make that two roofs, as the 2025 expo will double its footprint, with two buildings at the Brisbane Showgrounds to fit all the stallholders in. The 2024 expo attracted 40 exhibiting businesses, but the 2025 expo will almost double that, so there’ll be even more to see, buy and inspire.
Exhibiting businesses will present accessories, upgrade parts and much more for circuit racing, drag racing, drifting and performance street cars and motorcycles. So, if you’re looking for products, or just inspiration, for that track day car or project bike, the expo is the place to be!
Queensland’s two major racing circuits - Willowbank and Queensland Raceway – have signed on to be a part of the 2025 expo. There’s interest from interstate, too, so automotive businesses from New South Wales and Victoria will also be exhibiting.
New Display Themes
In excess of 50 display cars will feature at the expo, with two new themed spaces created for 2025.
‘Drag Race Alley’ is where Queensland’s strong drag racing community will flex its muscle, while ‘Sex Spec Lane’ will be a nostalgia trip to the heyday of the Auto Salon shows; a time when JDM was king and no budget was too big!
The entire display area at Brisbane Showgrounds is undercover, with a closed-off street inbetween the two halls providing space to relax and refuel, thanks to plenty of food truck options.
Live and Kicking
In addition to increasing the exhibitor numbers and expanding the display space, Growl Racing have also upped their game with the entertainment for the 2025 Performance Pulse Expo. Popular house DJ Luke Mumby returns and will be joined by Aussie hip hop royalty Pez, along with dance/NRG duo, Nick Skitz featuring Kidd Kaos. All will be performing live on the day.
This family-friendly event also features a range of kids’ activities to keep junior revheads entertained.
