1928 Buick Sedan: Having owned an identical 1928 Buick when at school (pictured) I have owned this wonderful restored version for 11 years, during which it has done sterling duty for weddings, grandchildren entertainment and vintage car enjoyment. Space and time requires me to sell this immaculate Fisher body example. With 83,000 original miles in 88 years, and restored over many years faithfully by an expert owner, this car has its original equipment and mechanicals. It has been very reliable, and recently a well known vintage expert has done a number of maintenance jobs to brakes, wheels , king pins, electrics, new tyres all round, and she is ready for another 80 years. Buick invented the original GM overhead valve engine, and these cars were very advanced for their day, incorporating features that became standard on other lesser cars much later. The green body and black guards are stunning and draw a crowd everywhere...memories. Performance is strong and smooth, and it steers and stops with confidence. This car has the imported Fisher body, and is a genuine 5-6 adult seater, with wind up 6 light window, lockable doors and key lock entry. Electrics are modern, the cooling system with fan and pump handles Aussie summers, and the view from the driver seat is wonderful. The Buick starts every time and you can use it to go to the shop or on a long trip. Lots of fun and low maintenance costs.
