Seller's Description
UPDATE: We've now found the front end with one wheel.
T.J Richards 33 Dodge body. They were Australian coach builders for many makes at the time. So this body is based shared with many other makes. There were only slight differences between them.
It's a wooden frame that's long rotted away. It'll require either rebuilding your own wooden frame, or better still, a steel frame.
The chassis is solid. There is one cross-member (that's originally bolted in) that was cut, but can be re-welded (as pictured).
The B-pillars were also wooden, which explains the doors being wired shut. The bracket that attaches the doors to the B-pillar are there though.
Engine and gearbox are missing.
The rear end is all there.
The fuel tank is there.
No gauges.
No front windscreen.
The only trim piece that seems to be missing is one bottom trim on one of the rear windows.
One of the rear quarter windows was in one piece, until I stood on it. I'll include it so you can trace it though.
All of the sheet metal is still thick, so you can panel beat it back to shape and/or weld it.
This may not suit a purist restorer, but for any ratrod or hotrod enthusiast out there, this is the go to body.
If you're keen, it can be done and this will be the cheapest starting point.
It's extremely rare to find these bodies and I'm sure you know what they're worth when restored.
