Powered by their 2561cc Inline 6 Cylinder providing 95.5BHP, mated to a partly synchro (2nd, 3rd & 4th) 4 speed gearbox the WA was capable of 85mph, perfectly suited to luxurious high speed cruising. Over an 11 month production period, ended by the declaration of World War II in 1939, only 358 WA’s rolled off the production line, with the Tickford Drophead Coupe only accounting for 52 examples. With just a claimed 22 Tickford WA’s surviving this stalled restoration would be well and truly justified to complete.
