Seller's Description
PRICE REDUCED was 19k..... Unfortunately, it is time to let this old girl go to its next custodian. It is a 1951 Mk3 Humber Super Snipe, it was built late in 1951 and then shipped straight to Melbourne, much of the history is unknown, but the last owner bought it from Brisbane and had it for 10 years before it came into our hands. Before it left Brisbane it had been refurbished, I was told it cost in the region of $7-8k just for the interior, I can fully believe it as the interior from room to floor is amazing, the only thing that didn't seem to have been done was the wooden dash, if the dash had been done it would be truly a 10/10 interior, but I would call it 9/10 due to the dash. During its life, it also has had a paint job changing from the original flat black to a black with a 'cola' type pearl to it, very subtle but nice. This is a matching numbers car. Due to age, it has no seatbelts, only the rearview mirror on the dash, no indicators apart from the Trafficators/Semaphores in the doorpost, it's actually quite liberating. The car is also on full normal rego so no worries about any sort of club rego. I have various book manuals and spare parts that will come with it, I also have a copy of the original sales register from Rootes, a copy of which is in the pictures, this car is the last on the page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humber_Super_Snipe#Mk_III
