1954 Vauxhall Velox 3 Speed Manual Sedan - LOCATED in YOUNG NSW
This gorgeous 6 cylinder car has had most of the hard work done with a ground up restoration.
Originally black in colour it has been meticulously resprayed in cream just awaiting all additional parts to be bolted back on and in the vehicle. Doors and guards (front wings) are on the vehicle. Vehicle interior is full of wrapped parts.
Please note that in some images of the bonnet, nosecone and boot lid have dust and bugs on them in the images but have been cleaned and are now wrapped ready for transportation. These panels are NOT damaged or market but were just dusty at the time the photos were taken prior to being washed and protected.
Interior panels have been painted a milk coffee tone to compliment the two-tone reddish-brown leather seats and camel coloured roof lining which is all perfectly intact. Chrome bumpers and other chrome trim are wrapped and in great condition.
The original engine has been rebuilt and is ready to go back in. Carburettor has been restored meticulously with a carbie kit all completed. Wiring loom, partially installed in the engine bay, is all present and accounted for. Front end suspension all restored and ready. New rubbers and trim included in boxes of parts.
50% of the bolts and screws have all been dipped, cleaned and plated. They are bagged into groups and sizes.
With its curved one piece windscreen and curved rear window, the body style is much more modern than Holdens of that era. The shape was styled outside and inside (with the modern dash) more like a Chevrolet of the 50s.
A stack of 15 manuals comes with this vehicle to assist with putting it back together.
All other parts and items are boxed and organised. There are many many spares for the car some of which come from a Vauxhall Wyvern of the same year. 2 spare differentials, spats for rear guards, spare carbies and engine parts galore. Spare RHS and LHS guards (wings), spare bonnet, chrome grille and front nose cone, spare tail lights, windows, bumpers, front and back seats in red /cream etc... just to name a few.
Just needs someone with a passion for Vauxhalls of the 50s put it back together and then take it for a drive.
