1958 ford fairlane 500 sunliner convertible

1958 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible. Also known as a Sunliner. This car had a ground up restoration about 8 years ago by the previous owner who owned it for over twenty years and has now passed. His son in law told me that the car was stripped to bare metal and repainted in white. The interior has been completely redone to the original. including seats , door trims and new convertible top. He also added some chrome accessories in the engine compartment. I have the original interceptor air cleaner and valve covers. The engine is a 332ci Police Interceptor motor 265 HP V-8 with a four barrel carburettor (Code G) and automatic transmission "Cruise-O-Matic (Code 4). The original colour Colonial white (Code E). It has new chrome with N.O.S. chrome and gold flash trim on the exterior and the original hubcaps. New gunsights to the top of the fenders and original style chrome side mirrors. It was built in Long Beach California (Code L) December 31st, 1957 (Code31M). It has a CD player in dash but I have the original radio. I have put a brand new set of Coker Classic Wide Whitewall tyres with less than 200 mls on them. The brakes and front end have been completely redone. New rear shackle bushes. All fluids have been replaced along with a transmission service. The power top works with ease and comes with a white tonneau cover. Front end alignment. Many more items. The car runs and drives fantastic. Transmission shifts very smoothly. A very clean classic car. Have now completed a new service and tuneup. Any questions please ask.
