Seller's Description
1962 EK Holden Hydramatic, genuine Carlsbad black car, 83,000 miles, original upholstery. Rust free, never had any panel rust other than two small repairs at bottom of front guards. Original rubber mats, decent chrome.. Bare metal respray to the outside of the car, original paint inside (jams, dash, inside doors etc). Original accessories include: spats, sunvisor, venetian, vanity mirror, boot lamp, radio, dress rims Have replaced door rubbers, boot rubber, windscreen rubbers, quarter glass rubbers, as well as other rubbers required when painting (door handle gaskets, bonnet bump stops etc). The car still retains original door glass bailey channels and weatherstrips in VGC) Mechanical work includes brake overhaul, suspension check, new sway bar rubbers, and new shocks. Original 138 grey motor performs effortlessly and runs very well.. Have owned this car since 2016, and selling this vehicle is because it is one of 3 black FB EK Holdens I own, and do not have long term storage for the vehicle. This is a rare car, and holds a fantastic opportunity for the astute collector/investor. There are many FB EK Holdens out there, but this car holds the correct pedigree for a solid medium to long term investment. Less than 10 road capable factory black EK sedans are known to exist. Car is in Yeronga Brisbane, will be sold without current plates (customised from another vehicle) however for Qld buyer will be sold with safety certificats and full registration. NSW number plates attached to the vehicle from 1985 also included. Happy to assist with interstate transport
