I've decided to sell my 1965 SportWagon owned for over 6 years. Imported in 2012 (yes I have Import Approval doc) and sat in importers yard until I took pity on it in 2017. Took two years to get it on the road, but I've been driving it ever since. Californian rust free body, with original sunburnt Seafoam Green paint and green interior, featuring the 3rd row seat for a 9 seater wagon. Original 300 cube V8, 4 barrel "Wildcat 310" with ST300 rebuilt transmission runs well. Airconditioning is factory fitted and complete, but never re-gassed after import. All fully tinted glass is excellent including rare Vista roof glass panels, which are shared with the Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser. Generally parts are easy to find as they are compatible with the Special and Skylark, plus the other GM A body cars Chevrolet Chevelle, Pontiac Lemans and GTO and Olds Cutlass. Over my ownership I've done brand new brakes, radiator, water pump, fuel pump, steering box, Carter carb & alternator rebuild, 4 shock absorbers, trans rebuild, new windscreen and tailshaft, and on and on... Genuine 14x6" and 15x7" American Racing wheels and BFG's look the part. Original 14" steel rims and hubcaps, plus a few spares, including original black/yellow Cali license plates and dealer frames, are included. Heaps of receipts, shop and owners manuals are there as well. I've been driving the car on permits/dealer plates etc, hence wagon is sold unregistered- has not been inspected in SA.
