This is 1965 Mark 1 Cortina GT Sedan is a beauty. These Cortinas are hard to find in as good a condition as what this car is. This car has been completely repainted from bare metal and totally re-trimmed with English materials. All carpets have been replaced including the boot area. This little red rocket has new rubbers fitted from bumper to bumper. All the gauges have been repaired and the electrical system has been converted to negative earth with a new magneto style alternator retro fitted. A new starter motor has been fitted to the rebuilt 1500 motor with extractors and the unleaded valve guides being done at the time of the rebuild. The carby has been completely overhauled. This classic is 4 speed manual with a new clutch fitted. and an exchange diff centre installed. All badges, mouldings, glass, door handles, winders, lenses and bright work are in very good condition. The rear tail lamp lenses are brand new. The car has new brakes and new tyres all round. The shock absorbers and struts have been replaced. New front retractable seat belts have been installed. The car is located in Wamuran Qld and is currently in the care of its owner. Inspections are by appointment only. The advertised price does not include any on road costs.
