SEVEN82MOTORS’ April auction goes LIVE on 18 April
SEVEN82MOTORS have gathered an Easter basket full of collectable vehicles for their April online auction. Everything from a VW Beetle to a Ferrari F355, and an HSV GTS to a custom Ford Bronco is available, along with some very impressive classic Aussie and American muscle cars, restomods and pickups.
With 73 lots in this auction, you’re sure to find a ride that’s sweeter than anything from the Easter Bunny! Bidding opens on 18 April (Good Friday) at 6:00PM and runs to 28 April, closing from 6:00PM.

Aussie Muscle
Leading the way amongst the Aussie muscle consignments is the first LX Torana A9X built by GM-H and a genuine XW Falcon GT-HO Phase II with 408ci stroker upgrade. Others include a ’73 XA Falcon GT sedan in rare Blue Teal, ’77 LX Torana SL/R 5000 replica, 2014 FPV 335 GT with supercharger, 2002 HSV GTS coupe, genuine XY Fairmont in MS33 ‘South African GT’ spec, an XA Fairmont GS K Code hardtop, HQ Monaro LS in rare Dublin Green, two XY Falcon GT replicas, a ’71 HQ SS tribute with a supercharged V8, XY Falcon GT tribute ute with a 393 stroker V8, HJ Sandman panel van, HZ Sandman ute (No Reserve) and a ’71 XY Fairmont with factory 351 V8 that’s been restored to original spec.

US Muscle
American muscle offerings include a classic ’68 Dodge Charger with a Viper V10 engine transplant, a ’72 Corvette 454 coupe, ’68 Plymouth Satellite 383, ’67 Chevelle SS with hi-po 454 V8 upgrade, a ’62 Corvette roadster with fuel-injected 327 V8, 2023 Shelby Super Snake Mustang, plus two ’57 Chevy Bel Air two-door hardtops – one with a 350 and the other with a 376 LS3.
First-generation Mustangs include a ’67 Eleanor tribute in black, authentic ’65 convertible with 289 V8, ’69 fastback, ’73 convertible and a ’68 GT coupe with S Code 390 V8 and vinyl roof.
There are multiple Camaro options, too, including a bold ‘69 SS/RS 350 coupe in Daytona Yellow, and a matching-numbers ’69 RS/SS with 396 V8 and manual trans. There’s also a ’68 RS convertible and ’67 convertible upgraded with SS options, a 396 V8, Muncie four-speed manual, CPP front disc brakes and Koni shocks.

Rare and Unusual
For alternative US iron, there is a ’78 Chevy K10 4x4 pickup, ’71 GMC 1500 pickup with a 454 V8, Dodge Ram SRT10 ‘Yellow Fever’ Special Edition with supercharger, and an ’88 Chev C1500 Silverado that’s been airbagged and fitted with a full custom interior. Milder fare includes a ’68 Impala coupe with four-wheel disc brake upgrade, ’55 Ford Thunderbird (No Reserve), ’63 Lincoln Continental sedan, ‘64 Chevy Impala SS Sports Coupe and a ’70 Chevy C20 pickup.
Unusual lots in this auction include a 1966 Mercedes-Benz 250SE coupe (No Reserve), 1997 Ferrari F355 Spider, 2018 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen with Brabus widebody conversion, “sleeper” BMW 635CSi with a Ford Barra turbo six engine transplant, patinated 1971 VW Karmann Ghia with upgraded flat four engine and full custom interior (No Reserve), 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, 1960 Mercedes-Benz 300 ‘Adenauer’ sedan and an Absolute Pace AC Cobra replica with a carbon fibre-reinforced body, LSA 6.2 V8 and six-speed manual.

Bidding and Open Days
Online bidding for the SEVEN82MOTORS April auction opens at 6:00PM on Friday, 18 April and runs through to Monday, 28 April. The close of bidding - from 6:00PM on the 28th - will be live streamed, kicking off at 5:00PM.
Registered bidders can make inspections at SEVEN82MOTORS’ Gold Coast facility - 2 Palings Court, Nerang - by appointment throughout the online auction period or during the open days.
For the open days, SEVEN82MOTORS are bringing back the traditional ‘Thursday Late Night Shopping’ for this auction, while ‘Saturday Show Day’ continues unchanged. ‘Last Minute Monday’ remains a day for bidders only.
At the open days, you can enjoy authentic American shakes, sundaes and great coffee at Big Benny’s diner, or grab a beer and a bite to eat at Fix on 66. If the in-house DJ in the main showroom isn’t your style, relax out back with a cold one and some country tunes at the new Bidder Bar (formerly the Sunset Saloon).
Familiar attractions at the open days include the Grid Girls, the amazing neon sign and soda collection, Texaco garage display and Benny’s memorabilia display. You can also tour the 782Garage, purchase some 782 merch or get yourself a haircut and old-fashioned cut-throat shave at the Brass Monkey Barber Shop.
