1965 Ford Mustang 2-dr Hardtop Coupe powered by a 200cui 6-cyl inline Ford engine and driven by a C4 3-speed console-shift automatic transmission. The car presents beautifully, and it has a recent repaint in Candy Apple Red which simply glows having just been freshly wet-sanded and polished, and the finish is deep and rich. Lots of fresh bright trim, emblems, bumpers, etc. Just a quick look inside and you will find fresh upholstery done in a custom mix of Black Pony seat upholstery and Red trim. The floor pans and frame rails are in good shape, with only some minor rust issues in the floor pans which has already been addressed. The braking system has just been overhauled and serviced with new components and the car brakes nicely. The whitewall tyres are brand new and they accent the spinner hubcaps and body painted wheels perfectly. Under the bonnet, the 6-cylinder 200cui engine fires up easily and runs very well. Recent mechanical work includes a new exhaust manifold, full top-end rebuild, and reconditioning and servicing of both the carburetor & distributor. The 200’s have great low-end torque and throttle response, and they are also quite capable of some impressive fuel economy. The C4 automatic transmission goes into gear quickly and shifts properly.
