Seller's Description
1965 HUMBER SUPER-SNIPE (SERIES V) SN3350 REG:1FJ1SE VIN N0:B084700133 ENG NO:B8450035680BW $8,500 (To be sold UN-Registered & with Vic RWC) FROM AN ERA OF FINE MOTORING The Series V, introduced in late 1964, was squared up considerably in comparison to the previous Series I to IV models which had all shared the same basic shell. The Series V also sported twin Stromberg 175 carburettors, boosting power to 128hp and propelling the car up to speeds close to 100 mph (160 km/h). The motoring correspondent of the Motoring and Driving Register (July 1967) had this to say of the car: ``The Humber Super Snipe is an assured car for travelling comfortably from town to town and even on the new fast motorways. Yet its powerful engine allows it to handle the challenges of smaller lanes where the speeds rise and fall with each change of direction and each corner negotiated``. This wonderful time capsule in White with Red Trim is a lovely example, with good power from the Armstrong Siddely engine & a smooth gear change from the Auto, this really is an all day cruiser. Priced to sell, this charming old English car is great value & can take you back in time to a golden era of fine motoring. Priced without Reg, Talk to us about Reg, Club or Other Plate Options.
