Engine overhauled at 61,000 miles. Car has factory fitted electric overdrive on 3rd and 4th. Four speed full synchro manual gearbox. Has recent clutch and brake cylinder work, front brake hoses including new front pads and caliper seals. Complete strip qnd repaint in 2006 (see pics) including all chrome renewed, including all Marzac handles, etc. New stainless steel grille, H4 headlights (4), new thin whitewall tyres, new door and window rubbers including new imported windscreen. Upholstery original black Ambla, but all new carpet fitted. Headlining original. Drives smoothly and effortlessly at 100kph with excellent fuel economy. Has Weber carbie replacing the original Solex (is still in spares), a range of new spares included, plus Rootes Workshop Manual, Parts Book and a selection of original advertising literature form 1966.
