Just arrived - This 1967 Ford Mustang Sports Sprint is a rare with incredibly low mileage and completely original. 1967 saw a the first significant modifications to the Mustang base, with the car now tracking bigger to equate for a new range of Big Block V8's. The trims saw some changes throughout, with some additional options available in all models. Like all '67 Ford-built cars, the Mustang was equipped with dual hydraulic brake system, front and rear seatbelts, a rearview mirror, windshield washers, and reverse lights in the name of safety. This Mustang was nicely optioned, which grew the original $2461 price tag to a whopping $2,938. These options included the 'C' code 289 2v V8, 3 speed select shift 'cruisomatic' auto transmission, AM radio, exhaust emission control, and closed crankcase emission system. This Mustang was also optioned with the Sports Sprint Package, which included hood vents, recessed turn signals, metal rocker panel mouldings, chrome air cleaner, vinyl covered shift handle, full wheel covers, and white wall tyres to finish it off. It was originally ordered by Farber Ford in Grass Valley CA, then made it's journey to Australia in 2005 via personal import at only 19,450 miles. It was imported in pristine original condition and the car continues to display this. The current owner then purchased the vehicle in 2008 and has had some work done over the years to keep it running its best, including a head recondition, choke kit, fresh exhaust, shockers, rear springs and shackles, and water pump. The original Burnt Amber exterior is in beautiful condition, much like the original interior. The car is additionally complete with its original books, order document, export documents, spare key, and is currently registered here in SA under LHD exemption. Even the air runs nice and cold, which is always an added bonus. There's not too many 1967 Mustangs out there like this, which truly is a special find. More interior photos coming.
