The Ambassador was the top-of-the-line automobile produced by the American Motors Corporation (AMC) from 1958 until 1974.
During 1968 AMC produced the Ambassador SST 2 Door hardtop, with a vinyl top, 343 ci 5.6 litre V8, 3-speed automatic transmission, which made these a nice easy car to drive.
This Australian delivered example presents in striking red exterior with a black vinyl roof, black and red matching interior, white wall tyres and SST chrome hubcaps. The SST 2 door pillarless coupe is a real survivor model and a classic example of the late 60s.
