Rare 1970 Ford Falcon XY GT Found After 50 Years!

An Australian automotive legend has been discovered: a 1970 FORD FALCON XY GT, stored highly untouched and not driven since 1973!

With only 24,000 miles on the clock and a verified One Owner, this extraordinary 'Shed Find' will be auctioned without Reserve, with bidding closing on January 30, 2025.

Purchased new from Wright Ford in Sydney, this Yellow Ochre XY GT Falcon was driven by its now 88 year old owner (pictured), down the Hume Highway on a permit, before being first registered in Victoria as KTH281.

Amazingly, this legendary muscle car was carefully stored for 50+ years only a stones throw away from the Nylex Clock Tower in Richmond, Melbourne.

The car received regular engine starts until 12 years ago, when the owner’s circumstance prevented further maintenance.
