1970 Ford Torino GT 2-dr Sportsroof Coupe powered by a 5.8L 351cui-4v V8 Ford Cleveland small block engine and driven by a FMX 3-speed column-shift automatic transmission through a Ford 9`` differential. Talk about a cool optioned Torino! This one was born a true GT with the Shaker hood scoop and a 4-barrel Cleveland engine. Originally it was Ford Red with the corresponding Red interior. It was repainted years ago in Raven Black which shows quite nicely, although we would classify it as a 10 footer. Big 15`` Magnum 500 wheels have been added and really set the car off. Perhaps the biggest & most desirable optional feature was the addition of the hide-away headlights & a Mercury 'Cyclone' dashboard, which are very popular & valuable custom options on these cars. Under the bonnet the 351-4v Cleveland is a very healthy specimen having been upgraded with a larger camshaft and Mallory electronic ignition system. Factory power steering and power assisted front disc brakes make this car a breeze to drive. The brakes have just been inspected and new pads, shoes & wheel cylinders have been replaced.
