1971 ford xy fairmont gt sedan

This Genuine 10/71 built Ford XY GT, 54H body was a South African assembled GT with Australian components and badged as a Fairmont GT, It was imported back to Melbourne in 2009 and restored to factory specs six years ago and has travelled minimal klms since then. The original 4V big port Cleveland Engine and FMX Transmission have been rebuilt along with the original factory Autolite Carby, Distributor and Starter Motor as has the Email alternator. Wiring loom and all other engine bay electrics were also restored or renewed. All original power steering components and factory Selectaire Air Conditioning components are there also, including all four original Smith's pressure and return hose's. The original 9" diff and GT tailshaft with factory markings for an auto are also still there. Front and rear end, brake and suspension components were replaced or rebuilt as were universal joints as were most other front and rear end components along with a new Fuel Tank, Exhaust system and new Tyres, The sale of this rare color SA GT comes with a copy of the Ford Motor Company Verification Letter for the car for the new owner.
