Just arrived – We are delighted to be representing this 1974 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Mk1 once more. The Silver Shadow received several upgrades to its predecessor, the Silver Cloud. Most notably, the Silver Shadow now used disc brakes, and the independent rear suspension was upgraded to hydraulic self-levelling suspension which improved the ride greatly and gives an almost floating feel. All cars produced past 1970 received a 6.75L V8 engine that boasted 189hp and a 3-speed Turbo-Hydramatic 400 automatic transmission. This is a four-owner Australian-delivered car, originally sold new by York Motors to a Mr A Blomfield `` Rothwood`` in Bowral NSW. The car comes with an excellent file of original documented history dating back to the very original owner. Most servicing was carried out by United Motors (Rolls Royce Dealer & service provider) and more recently Tom Johnston Motors for several years. It presents wonderfully for the age of the vehicle along with a neat and tidy interior, power windows, and power steering. This really can only be described as a very well-kept original car.
