This 1972 HQ Monaro was purchased by the current owners in 1997 and was driven for around three years until it was deregistered in 2001. It was then stored until 2015 and by 2016 a full rotisserie restoration was carried out. This Infra Red muscle car is a genuine SS Monaro powered by a 253 Holden V8 Engine. The manual gearbox has been swapped out in favour of 5 speed T5 Manual gearbox. The suspension and brakes have been replaced with new components from front to rear. The entire exhaust system is stainless steel including custom extractors. All the stainless trims and exterior chrome has been reconditioned. New carpet and new rubber mat in the boot. The steel wheels were also restored and new tyres fitted. This beautiful classic has new rubber seals, very good gaps, panel fitment and the doors close beautifully. The original 4 speed gearbox and tailshaft is still available and lots of other spares including bumpers and centre console. This car is consigned with us and is still in the care of it's owner in New Beith 4124 Qld. Inspections are by appointment only. This cool car is currently registered in Qld. Aussie. Muscle. Rare.
