Reluctantly my Fairlane is up for sale. All the details are on the Ford verification letter in the photos; it is very rare being a 1 of 1 car.
Always an easy starter, even when left for long periods of time. The body is probably one of the better ZG’s out there. It’s got a few car park dents and a tiny bit of rust at the bottom right corner of the rear screen but apart from that it’s really honest and solid.
The interior is sound but is showing it’s age. I planned to replace the carpet and leave the seats and door cards original but haven’t got there.
Would be a very good candidate for restoration or could be left and used as a patina/survivor car. A good alternative to a V8 XA/XB/XC
This car has been a part of my life for a long time and holds a fair bit of sentimental value. The new tyres fitted to it are 4 years old and still have the pimples on them; I just don’t use the Fairlane and I’ve had the opportunity to purchase my dream car hence the sale.
