FORD FALCON XB “JOHN GOSS SPECIAL” 1975 model hardtop which was a limited edition Ford Falcon, released by Ford Australia in 1975 to commemorate John Goss victory at the 1974 Hardie-Ferodo 1000 . Ford released a limited-edition version of the new XB hardtop in August 1975 calling it the JOHN GOSS SPECIAL, each one available in two paint schemes – Apollo Blue or Emerald Green – and with an interior of white vinyl equipped with the GS Rally Pack option; all were powered by the 302 Cleveland V8 though exact figures don’t exist on production numbers but it is believed that less than 800 were made . This particular example presented in the Emerald Green paint scheme retains its factory drive train mated to a 4-speed transmission with power steering for that comfort cruise just a great reliable driver , interior is in great original condition with all gauges in working order, exterior presents rust free with fantastic shiny paintwork ridding on fat 12slot chrome wheels, this JGS is a very attractive beast ready to turn key and enjoy.
