This 1970 LC GTR Torana is back on the market for the first time in many years. Featured in the Unique Cars Torana Review, The Torana has been subject to a ground up restoration, carried out by Worthy GTR Restorations. It sports an rare colour combination in Daytona Bronze with contrasting antique gold trim, which was original to the car. It is powered by a 2600S 'red' motor, which made 125hp by way of a WW2 twin-barrel Bendix-Stromberg carburettor, meatier camshaft, upgraded valves and springs, twin exhaust headers, and a low restriction air cleaner. This motor was fully rebuilt by Thess Engines, and paired with a 4 speed GMH gearbox which, while not original to the car, was standard from July 1971. A set of period-perfect Aunger Hustler mag wheels was also fitted to the car for a better stance.
