Lloyds are honoured to be auctioning this prestigious collection that will have over 150 vehicles go under the hammer at Gosford Classic Car Museum’s enormous facilities on the 7th April 2019.

Presenting in an unrestored condition, this 1977 Volga has kept well since release and retaining its factory LHD configuration, offers a true Russian driving experience. Its streamline body shows the revised look of mentioned upgrades post 75’. Its polished aluminium front and rear bar sets beautifully over its white dish-design rims.
This four door showcases a unique interior design in a unique orange trim with red upholstered doors and was offered only between the years of production 1977-1985. Its spacious cabin area accommodates seating up to four and its dash is set in black featuring woodgrain inserts.
Featuring a 4-cylinder 2.4L engine run through a 4-speed manual transmission, this pre-80’s icon hit the market in Russia before making its way throughout Europe.
The Gaz 24 Volga was manufactured by ‘Gorkovsky Avtomobilny Zavod’ at its ‘Gorky’ plant between 1970-1985. A successful series, the manufacturer went on to produce just under 1.5 Million 24 Volga’s over the years having these adopted by the Taxi industry.
Receiving all the necessary factory modifications pre-75’ – this Gaz 24 features a more conventional speedometer, a more convenient outside rear-view mirror and an idealistic engine cooling system upgrade to run ‘antifreeze’ instead of water. With its new ‘refreshed’ design it offered improved bumper guards, an aluminium body and a new dash layout. The interior was also optioned in more variety of colours.
