Just arrived - This 1978 Holden Torana UC SL Hatch is a beautiful and rare little beast. The last model in the Torana lineup, the UC Torana SL hatchback cost a grand $6618 when it hit the showroom floors back in 1978. The car displays options congruent with the Deluxe package, which comprised of a laminated windscreen, tinted side and rear windows, intermittent wipers, radio/casette player, sports instrumentation and front and rear bumper overriders. The UC runs a 3.3L 202 6 cylinder engine with a 3 speed 'Trimatic' automatic gear box. A longterm 11 year ownership, the Torana has recieved some love. The interior has been retrimmed in its original Slate Black and recarpeted in its original colours, with new rubbers fit to the doors. The Atlantis Blue paint was resprayed and now presents beautifully, and it now sits on a set of Aunger wheels which have been machined and refurbished. The car reportedly retains its original engine and the displays as a straight and honest rare hatch.
