1978 m.g. mgb mkiii roadster

This is a great example of an original MGB Mk3 with Overdrive. This car is priced to sell quickly at $16900. 1976 MGB. Collapsible steering column and side impact protection in this late model sports car. 32900 Miles (not Km) on the clock only. Mercedes Cloth fold down roof, plus tonneau cover. black leather interior. Lap-sash retractible seat belts. 4 speed manual with electric overdrive. Approved RHD Conversion done in 1991 (supplied with Engineers Report.) NO RUST AND CLEAN NO ACCIDENT HISTORY. Very straight car, tyre inspection will show that there is no uneven tyre wear. Only travelled 13000 miles since I purchased it in 1998. Previous owner imported it from California (salt free, no rust problem) and engineered it to RHD. Engineers Certificate is included together with the official Workshop Manual. It drives and rides well, very reliable. Starts first turn. Fitted with standard Australian MGB SU carburettors and exhaust system. Head and Valve gear has been reconditioned a few years ago. US model runs unleaded fuel. I have recently replaced the Clutch Master and Slave cylinders and Rear Brake cylinders and brake shoes. The original engine is largely untouched, never been out of the car. Comes with a Smaller Emergency spare wheel. Plus the original spare wheel. New fuel tank fitted three years ago. Paint finish not perfect but acceptable. No filler in the car as no rust was found in the body or in the interior. Always been stored under cover. Note, the Club Permit registration is not transferrable. In the last 23 years it's been in The MG Car Club, The Morris Register, The AHSDC, and currently the Austin 7 Club. As I now have two Austin 7's, I have very little use for this reliable car , it's currently not being used as I'm finding it a bit harder to get in and out of. My preference is to sell it to an enthusiast and someone who understands these classic British cars.
