Seller's Description
-Genuine Shed find with a one owner history
-Genuine 30,367km
-Maintenance owners guide and Spare keys
-Radial Tuned Suspension
-Bench Seat
-Original straight six-cylinder engine with a column shift manual transmission
Originally purchased new in Country NSW leading a very easy life living in the hands of its original county custodians. Found resting peacefully in a shed on a grazing property where it was discovered in its original state as a Genuine Shed find with a one owner family owning since brand new.
This Jasmine Yellow ute presents in fantastic condition, the tan vinyl interior with bench seat and ute tray are almost as new, and the ute still retains its original straight six-cylinder engine with a column shift manual transmission. The H.Z was released with Radial Tuned Suspension (RTS) handling package was more than just a handy marketing logo, but a rethink on how this series was set up. Having only travelled 30,000km in 39 years from new, the HZ is rare find in this condition.
The Holden Kingswood was the 'everyman's' entry level full-size Holden that was manufactured from the beginning of the HK series in 1968, with the Kingswood passenger car and Kingswood panel van ceasing production with the demise of the HZ series in 1980 with 154,155 being manufactured, succeeded by the new Commodore. However, the Kingswood name survived via the utility as part of the WB series manufactured between 1980 and 1984.
In such excellent, original condition, this example is a true time capsule. Holding such an important place in Australian motoring history, this special car would complement any collection.
