Super rare, one of only 29 Blaze Yellow XD Police Interceptors built running the T code 351 Cleveland and 4 speed manual gearbox. Police records show that this car was purchased on the 26.3.1980 from Allan Coffey Ford at a cost of $7,272 and registered as ATC-549. The car was then used in general patrol duties as a marked Police pursuit car (as per photo in ad) and was then sold by the Police on the August 4th, 1981 to New Oakleigh Motors for $6,645 with around 60,000 klms on the clock.The XD Interceptor is in totally original condition with mostly original paint with some touch ups. The car has only minor rust in the left hand quarter. There are still the signs on the drip rails of the Police light bar, a black grommet covering the hole for the wiring for the roof mounted Police lights and siren and the car still features the original driving lights and rubber nudge inserts in the front bumper bar. The interior is totally original with all original trim with normal wear to the front seats but excellent back seat. The interior features the normal holes for the Police radio and baton holder as well as the map reading light. The car is showing 206,984 klms from new. Mechanically the car is all matching numbers and has been recently serviced, the carby rebuilt and a new dual exhaust system fitted.
