Number matching, very original used car, The Vette was found sitting in a gentleman’s large car collection in the US. It was purchased at Meccan Auctions by a car collector here in Australia who added it to his collection in the well-known Lost in the 50s Museum. I purchased the vehicle last year, when they decided to close the Museum. Since then I have gone over the vehicle with a fine-tooth comb and proceeded the repair anything in need of attention, I have recently presented the car for a blue slip, which had no problem passing, so the Vette is now registered on Club registration which is not transferable. This is standard procedure. The Vette has just had a full service completed, all oils changed, motor, gearbox and differential. Brake fluid and coolant bled and replaced. Engine is the original 350 V8 and T350 automatic from factory including original differential and original carburettor. That’s pretty rare in a vehicle of this age. The speedometer reads 66,500 miles and considering the time this Vette has sat in car collection, I would believe this is original miles. This is a very nice drive anywhere motor vehicle.
