VH SL/E sedan factory 253 V8 Auto, now has 308 with Turbo 400 trans and 9” diff, Fully optioned P/S, A/C, Cruise, Power windows, central locking ect 4 wheel disks brakes, Polished VR GTS style wheels, lowered suspension, 3”exhaust, LPG. Motor need some attention and Paint and Panel work required, HEAPS of Spares, Great project!. Factory Cabernet (Metallic Deep Burgundy) Paint and leather trim. Has been resprayed lighter coloured red which has clear coat peeling off making paint look a bit shabby. Body is straight with only minor dint's and scratches and one dint on top of the bonnet. Some rust starting at the back of rear wheel arches, across top of LHR wheel arch, LHF door corner, LH sill panel and a couple of bubbles on side of back window. But All repairable. Boot area and ¼’s look free of rust and there is no sign of rust in floors, guards or front windscreen. Leather seats were remover for repairs and have new leather sections fitted but have been stored for a while and still need some work, car currently has SL/E velure seats in it. Interior is in very good condition, Bumpers are good with minor pitting, Chrome trims are great for age with minor scratches and wear, New head lights and front indicator. 308 blue motor has stripped crank key way and spun harmonic balancer and will require new Crank and bearings,Vehicle has sat over 15 years since. Engine and vehicle was apparently a good runner prior to crank damage and test shows good compression an average of over 170psi with lowest cylinder at 160psi, so crank and bottom end rebuild should be all it needs (or put a stroker crank in?) Spares- Set of 5 SL/E Ally wheels Good Front and Rear bumpers and 1 average front bumper Striate bonnet needing minor repairs, front guards in average condition, boot lid in excellent condition, Set of SL/E Red Door trims with arm rests, hood lining, sun visors and many other interior parts all in great condition NOS. RHF and LHF windows still in GMH wrapping, good LHR back window. SL/E door side strips and set of chrome door top moulds, GMH head light lenses.
