Seller's Description
I am selling this beauty on behalf of my brother who is reluctantly downsizing his collection. A very original VH with the 2.85 litre motor and factory 4 speed ( now with "short-shift" ) that are both in great condition. I put some country cruising miles on it today and was impressed with the smoothness and torque of this running gear. Brakes work great and engine runs nice and cool. Tailshaft centre bearing was recently replaced. Engine bay is neat and tidy as shown in photos. Mileage is just over 199000kms. Body and paint are in real good condition, with the factory Cameo Yellow getting a respray a number of years ago. It was at this stage the previous owner decided he liked the smooth look and deleted the side moldings. Paint does have some chips and car park marks consistent with its age, but I can see no rust bubbles showing through. The underneath of the car is clean, no rust shows in floors or boot. This car was originally sold in Millicent SA and has remained mainly in the dry country areas. Tanbark vinyl interior is comfortable and in great condition with a little sunburn on the tops of the front door trims. The rest of the interior looks good with a little wear showing on the carpet which I believe to be original. SLE 15 inch rims are fitted and tyres have heaps of tread. The last photo shows the original owners handbook, rustproofing certificate and very cool Body Assembly and Production Broadcast sheets found entombed in the interior! The VH is fully registered in South Australia. I usually ignore silly email questions and low ball offers and would prefer that you ring me on between 8am and 9pm Adelaide time. We have sold plenty of our classics to happy interstate buyers and I am happy to deliver the car to your transport company.
