Seller's Description
Rare opportunity to own a unique classic Japanese vehicle. My 1983 Subaru Leone will be up for sale as I no longer have the time to enjoy the vehicle. The Leone was the father of the Impreza and paved way for the introduction of the popular WRX. The Leone hardtop is close to extinct in Japan today and were popular in rally racing with the RX and Turbo models. This particular model is the 1800GLF 2 door hardtop in pristine condition. Everything works as intended from the factory including cold air conditioning. Comes with all service ownership books. The paint work is original with no rust. All trims and glass are like new. The rubbers and moulds are still soft and seal well. The interior exhibits no wear down to the door scuff plates. Still feels and smells like new with the velour upholstery in amazing condition. Seats had been covered since new and have no bolster wear. Steering wheel and handbrake still have the original plastic grain. Frequently touched controls have no wear as the original owner drove with gloves. The car is virtually as new, just like it rolled off the showroom floor. A well preserved time warp Japanese nostalgic vehicle. Notable features include: -Pillarless windows -Frameless doors -1.8 flat four carby engine -Retro Alpine/Eurovox sound system -Digital dashboard -Velour interior -Service books -Custom 13x8 widened Leone steel wheels -Complete Subaru air suspension kit negotiable with sale
