BMW R80 1985 Rear Monoshock model. Completely restored and rebuilt by Boxer Revival & Service (by Ron van de Wiel) to original new condition. Nothing left to do. No expense spared. Won first place in RACQ Motorfest 2016. Ridden 7,000 km since rebuild. Runs and rides like a dream. Everything is new or restored to as new condition: eg Engine & gearbox fully dismantled and overhauled. Anything that needed doing was done. The project was for a bike to ride and enjoy in to my dotage but due to arthritis I need to change to something with a more upright seating position. As much as I love my R80S, it deserves better than to be sitting in a shed. It needs to be ridden and enjoyed and so sadly the time has come to pass it on to someone who can appreciate and value a bike of this quality and condition. Some features: Staintune exhaust system (great note!!) ‘Peanut’ shell rocker covers fitted (original style covers included but not restored.)Awesome red paint, silver wheels and black frame. Seat covered by Ergo Seats. R90S style bikini fairing with factory instrumentation. (Colour matched with bike.) Original tool kit under seat. Avon tyres. Surefoot side stand. (So much easier to use).
