With the later turbo model, the 944 benefited from a strengthened gearbox, slightly stiffer suspension, Brembo 4 piston fixed calipers and 12-inch discs from the 911, and improved aerodynamics. Powered by a 2.5L 'M44/51' turbocharged 4 cylinder, the 944 turbo made approximately 162 kW. This is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The 944 is originally from the UK and was imported to Australia in 1996. Finished in Guards Red with a black interior, the 944 presents in stunning condition. The car comes with a wonderful file including the original books and some receipts of work done over the years. More recently, the 944 received a new balance shaft belt, cam belt, camshaft seal, cam housing o-ring, cam housing rear cover gasket, and cam housing rear rubber plug.
