The LTD has always been Ford’s pinnacle of luxury and the Crown in their Limousine range driving Australia’s Politicians, chauffeur driven Limousines and wealthy business men until it’s production ceased over a decade ago. With Automotive Manufacturing also ending in Australia this year it is making all Aussie built classics instant collectibles. This DCII Ford LTD is one of these collectibles, not yet booming in price, but sure to in the near future when in this type of showroom condition. This particular car is of Museum quality and you would struggle to find another example like this Australia wide. It was originally purchased and stored for a Barra or Turbo upgrade to the existing 4.0 litre engine. However, was then decided that due to several other projects and the immaculate condition, that it was too good to customise. It was hard to find a mint LTD with the stronger 6 cylinder engine and hard wearing velour trim even several years ago, let alone 2019. This 1994 LTD has had just 2 mature owners. It is mechanically perfect. It had just 120,000kms a few years back, but the last owner drove the car for 1 year from Bairnsdale to Dandenong (500km round trip), to work which took it to 220,000km’s. The car has a full service history and had the alloy cylinder head reconditioned at 180,000km whilst still doing the long 3 hour journey. It has no oil leaks, runs smooth and quietly with the 4.0 litre engine and trans being in perfect running order. This LTD has none of the usual problems like rust, sagging roof lining, dodgey electrics, broken console lid, etc… The interior is as close as you will get to new. It has no burns, tears or damage and every option works as it should from Cruise, Climate to all electric windows. The car has been garaged every day of its life and this shows on the factory paintwork. It is shiney and straight with no previous accident damage or repairs anywhere to be seen. It doesn’t even have a trolley dent yet and the Grill, lights, trims, etc are all excellent too. This show quality LTD is almost 100% original with the only mods being a new usb/Bluetooth headunit (original headunit and Ford Amplifier included in sale) and tinted windows. There are a full set of 5 factory alloys in great condition, plus 1 spare alloy rim (making 6), headlight protectors, dash mat and tow bar also included in the sale. The car has a new battery fitted and service just completed. It needs no work done and is being listed as is without Registration, however Reg can be included for Victorian buyers at their expense. This car is now eligible for club registration.
