Gorgeous XJ6 for sale. I am a chronic over-servicer, so I've done a lot of work to this car to get it to a standard I am happy with. Full service history. To summarise, she's in absolutely amazing condition, not just for her age, but overall. The car overall is a 9/10 (missing that 1/10 due to age related wear) but regardless, the interior is in sensational condition, verging on mint. The cupholders even work! I hear those failed a lot in the X300's. Paintwork is just as impressive, the best example I've seen around in a very long time. She's a head turner - people love it and you get the occasional thumbs up/flash of the lights. The best bit is seeing a fellow XJ6 driver out and about. I also find that people driving leave bit more space for you, or allow you in and out of parks more often. Must be a Jag thing? A little "ego" boost, if you're that way inclined. I always run it on 98. 3.2 AJ16 Engine. 4HP22 Tranny 206,000ks (You wouldn't realise it as it runs so well and presents even better.) Sunroof which works and seals. Andy Bracket! Noice. Work done in the past 12 months: - Oil change and filter (Penrite) multiple. - Fuel filter - Trans Service and filter - Power Steering fluid service - Brakes: Disks and pads front and rear - A number of hoses and rubbers replaced - 4 New Bridgestone tyres (approx $1000) - 6 x new sparkplugs - Diff seal - Bushes - Shocker and Control arms - Belts replaced - Engine mounts done - Wiper blades - Wood gearshift knob (Still have original) - Wheel Alignment and balance - Brand new sound system (4 x hertz speakers, head unit and pre-amp. Sounds amazing.) Still have the original head unit. - MAS Airflow sensor cleaned - Andy Bracket (advances the timing and gives it more torque and HP, and 5 - 10% more fuel efficiency.) - Coolant flush - Air Filter replaced - Heavy Duty Bond battery ($385) - All 6 injectors cleaned - Throttle Body cleaned + Many other things that I haven't listed. All in all, I've spent a heap of money on this car. It runs like a gem, no weird noises from the engine. It was very well looked after in it's past, and this is reflective of the exterior and interior. I believe the previous owner was an Engineer, which is what I could tell from the paperwork. Interior is almost mint condition. No cracks or anything in the woodwork. No issues to note on the interior. I know I've priced it higher than normal, but this is a car that has had all the work done. I've owned it for a touch over a year now. Happy to transport anywhere in Australia.
