This is a 1 owner, impeccably maintained and serviced, always garaged Series III (VY) update in original, unmodified but extensively enhanced condition. It was the last Series III down the Elizabeth line before the VZ Pontiac GTO stuffed up the pure lines of the V2 Monaro. It is in exceptional condition for a vehicle with over 200Ks on the clock. It pulls hard, it corners like it is on rails, and it stops quick when you need it. I recently test drove an original 50,000km Series III example in excellent condition a mate was looking at. It drove like a wet sponge compared to this car. Whilst extensive work has been done to allow the engine to breathe freely, to sharpen its handling & to bring it to a stop, everything I have done has been designed to enhance the driving experience and preserve the aesthetics of the sexiest car ever made in Australia. It is unmolested and has not been hooned. Using only the best quality parts and lubricants, every worn, failed or damaged part replaced on the vehicle over 17 years has sought to improve on the performance, handling, reliability and/or looks of the vehicle without departing from its original design intent.
