The first Burns & Co. Classic & Collectable Car & Motorcycle Auction for 2025 is now open for online pre-bidding. Check out the catalogue online, grab yourself a classic and collectable car or motorcycle and start the new year with a BANG!
This auction features a wide range of cars, motorcycles and selected memorabilia, so there’s something for everyone, including fantastic Aussie muscle, all-time favourite classics, American icons, entry-level club cars and motorcycles, plus an outstanding selection of unreserved lots.
The catalogue is now available and pre-bidding is open ahead of the live auction on Sunday, 19 January, 2025, with the first lot offered from 10:00am AEDT.

Burns and Co. are specialists at selling Aussie classic and muscle cars and the January auction is no different. Leading the way are a Bathurst-raced 1970 Ford XW Falcon GT-HO Phase II and rare 1986 HDT VL SS Group A sedan - 1 of 173 with the ‘Plus Pack’ that included the controversial Energy Polarizer.
Other highlights include HX and HR Premiers, an XP Falcon Deluxe, EH and EJ Specials, an HZ Sandman tribute panel van, an HSV VR GTS and VS Clubsport, plus two Valiant Charger R/T replicas. Jump online and take a look at the catalogue to see the rest of the Aussie lots that also include a Gen-F HSV Maloo R8 and Holden VS SS ute.
It’s not just Aussie cars up for grabs. There are plenty of American and European cars available, too, including a 1931 Delage Special roadster, 1967 Daimler V8, 1995 Daimler XJ300, ’67 Corvette Stingray 427 V8 manual roadster, ’77 Jaguar XJ6 Series II, ’75 MGB GT V8, a rare ’59 Ford Ranchero ute and a 2014 Jaguar XF S Luxury automatic sedan. There’s also a very nice 1934 Ford 3-window Hot Rod with an LS3 V8, 5spd manual, Schott alloys and full leather interior.
Then there are the motorcycles, with models from 1919 through to 2016 and brands including Triumph, Kawasaki, Raleigh, Norton, Harley-Davidson, Ducati and Moto Guzzi. There’s a great selection of two-wheel machines, many of which are being offered with no reserve.
For something different, a Honda Motocompo scooter and matching 1985 Honda City kei car are up for grabs as a matching set. And for something very different, a super-rare 1930 AJS 9hp sedan in barn-find condition is also in this auction. Of course, AJS are better known for their motorcycles, but they did produce cars for a brief period and this would have to be one of the very few in Australia.
