For sale due to C..T B. F.....D 1961 Desoto 4 door hardtop one of 2023 built and this one built 23 August 1960 with a matching day built engine and the 6th 4 door hardtop of the line for that day. Originally purchased on 30 November 1960 and staying with the family till 2007 but parked up around the late 1970's. Then purchased and imported to Queensland and registered there in 2008. Sold to Adelaide on 2015/16 but kept registered in QLD. I purchased in April last year and parked in my shed and now lost interest. If you are after a rare and unusual vehicle this is it.You wont find another one in Australia in a hurry and are very rare in the US as well. The Desoto is straight and rust free. Running a 361 wedge 2 barrel engine with 3 speed push button cast iron torque flite transmission.A cool set of Corker wide white radial tires. It has had new brakes front end work exhaust radiator when originally registered in QLD in 2008 and retrim with new carpets. I have a new master cylinder front brake cylinders brake hoses matching right hand mirror to go with vehicle . Here is a chance to own and drive some thing nobody else will have . The car does run drive and stop but NO you wouldn't drive it home as not been in use for several years. NO IT HASNT PASSED REGO OR BEEN FOR SA REGENCY PARK INSPECTION Mechanical parts are same as other Mopar of the era.
