XY Fairmont station wagon factory Y code V8 car with a very stout 347 stoker Windsor with a rebuilt C4 with 2800 stall, B&M ratchet shifter, shorted EB disc brake diff for lighter weight with 28 spline axels and rated up to 650hp… The wagon was originally built 6 years ago and then purchased by it’s current owner 5 years ago… He has gone through the driveline and has approx 30k worth of receipts, $22,500 of which are for the engine and gearbox that was all done in the last 18 months. Prior to his purchase it was stripped and painted in it’s Lime Glaze and themed with GT stripes, driving lights, blacked out tail panel and shaker… Could easily be changed to be themed as a GS with it’s stipe changed. Engine specs are all noted in the rebuild receipts and has Edelbrock heads, SBR pistons, scat crank and was blue printed and balanced. It also got an aluminium radiator, aluminium rocker covers, chrome alternator, Gilmour pully and MSD upgrade. Inside has been trimmed with new door panels and XC seats trimmed in XY basket weave. Clean and tidy throughout and sits on original 14 inch deep dish Hotwire mags… This car is as loud and obnoxious as it looks and is a nice driving and fun streetcar.
