Just arrived - This 1975 Holden HJ Panel van is great value for money. Produced from 1974 to 1976, the HJ replaced the HQ, recieving some different styling. The panel vans were only available as a commerical vehicle, as a basic, sandman, or ambulance package. Originally assembled in Brisbance, this HJ spent most of its life in Alice Springs, being used as a bread delivery van. In 2015 it moved to Lewiston in 2015, and in 2021, the current owner purchased the car from Perente Motors in the NT. In the 3 1/2 years has since converted it to an automatic, added all new transmission seals, a hotdog muffler, and a new starter motor. There is a file showing reciepts of all work done with the current owner. At some point in its life, the original 173 motor has been swapped out for a 161. The HJ remains in the original Cotillion White colour, though its beginning to show some signs of age, its a very solid and honest car at a very good price. More interior photos to come.
