This lovely MY2003 Carrera was first delivered by Porsche Sydney South in December 2002. If there is a format to have for a sports car this is it. The 2 wheel drive manual coupe is the one everyone asks for and in 996 form it doesn't disappoint. With its 320HP spec engine and one of the nicest gearboxes Porsche has ever made, these make a great drivers car. Under the skin its essentially the same as the 997 that followed but at a significant discount. And for the 2002 model year onward the 996 received an upgraded headlight design, glove box and fold out cup holder; all of which the pre 2002 models did not have. This car has a predominantly Porsche service history from new and it has been fully inspected by us. When we took the car in we noted it needed a new clutch, so with the engine and gearbox out of the car we also upgraded the much maligned factory IMS bearing with the LN Engineering IMS Upgrade bearing for ultimate peace of mind. All of this cost in the region of $4500 and should be considered as essential preventative maintenance on any 996 version 911. Factory options include, silver instrument dials and 18' turbo look wheels. Comes with all its books and is ready to go for its next owner.
