This Atomic Green HZ Holden One Ton Custom Trayback is extensively modified and has been regularly driven in the Central Queensland region on many unsealed roads for the last few years so its undercarriage detail has suffered as a result. The vehicle is engineered compliant in Queensland and is currently registered. This car is an ideal candidate for the custom Holden enthusiast to take to the next level as a rebuild project. The owner informs us that the cab had no rust other than the floor pans and that the ute was stripped to bare metal and refinished in 2 pack by the owner himself. This was a body-of- build and the whole interior was removed and subsequently refitted. All window and door rubbers and seals were replaced at the time of the rebuild. The engine is upgraded to the popular LS1 5.7 litre and the power is transferred by a 460LE 4 speed transmission. The engine has some performance upgrades with a Tighe power camshaft, Hummer sump, Lunati valve springs, Powerbond under-driven pulley set and Cold Air Induction. Stainless steel headers feed the 2 and a 1/2'' X FORCE exhaust system and High-flow cats. The fuel system upgrade includes a high volume Bosch 044 main fuel pump and surge tank. , 12mm fuel lines, Speedflow fittings and L98 high volume fuel regulator. The XJS Jaguar independent rear suspension is open centre and has 3.36 gears with 2 piston Jag calipers and 300mm brake rotors. The front brakes are 4 piston Jag disc brake calipers grabbing 325 mm front brake rotors. This modified 1 tonner has a strengthened chassis front to rear gusseted to the rear end. The wheels are Boyd ''Harm'' 18 x 10'' on the rear with 295/35/18 tyres and 17''X 8'' wheels on the front with 235/45/17 tyres. A brake bias control valve has also been fitted . The power booster and master cylinder are VX Holden. The tail-shaft has been strengthened. The engine is tuned by Maffles Tune in Bundaberg. The VX Commodore instrument panel and shifter complete the package. Rack and pinion power steering (Blacks Rack) has been fitted. The front is riding on Lovells springs (457lbs). The front A arms are boxed out and Nolathane Bushes have been fitted. The seats and door trims have been re-trimmed. GTS Monaro steering wheel. Alpine stereo amp and sub-woofer. The custom tray is constructed from steel steam pipe with 10 mm hardwood ply and aluminium scuff strips.
