Just arrived - This 1964 Daimler 2.5 V8 is a neat and tidy example. The 2.5 V8 was the first car produced on a Jaguar platform following Jaguar purchasing the company and proceeded to be Daimler's best-selling design. It was essentially a Jaguar MK 2 with the Daimler 2.5L V8 engine and drivetrain and some Mk 1 Jag details, although the V8 engine proved to make the Daimler lighter than the Jaguar alternative. They were all fit with 3 speed automatic on standard, with manuals only being available later in 1967. This Daimler comes with a great file documenting the cars history - incuding an original brochure. The current owner has possessed the vehicle for 11 years, and has spent lots of money over the ownership ensuring the car has remained mechanically sound.
